SAPEC specialize in the field of combustion and fireside treatment programs and are not involved in other chemical treatments such as water treatment. The company originally developed the system in the UK during the late 1980's. SAPEC achieved considerable success across the whole spectrum of boiler plant and fuels where it was quickly established as the UK market leader for the in industrial coal treatment programs The massive downturn in the UK coal industry has led to the company focusing on overseas markets. SAPEC has now established markets in South Africa and Europe. In 2000 we established COLPLAN SAPEC Africa to represent us in Africa. We are carrying out boiler trials in India and are looking to start operations in China and Asia. The SAPEC treatment system was originally developed by Leonard Hardy in the late 1980's. Len retired in 1995 and now lives in Guernsey, Although officially retired Len is still very much involved and accompanied directors Kelvin Hardy and Alan Smith on a trip to the Czech Republic.
